I'm sure there will be teams that qualify for both. Playing in these big tourneys is a good prep for whichever Nats you attend.

I hope a couple of top CA teams go to Midland, if for no other reason than to make sure we don't have to listen to any of nonsense from Comet16.
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

Who will get the berths from this group ? Not considering the unsuccessful Cal teams trekking to AZ that will inevitably be jumping into this qualifier,

Actually, there are 6 berths for 14u.

June 17-19, 2011 PGF Southern Cal Qualifier 14U, 16U, 18HS
All age groups will be this weekend, we are not certain at this time where each age group will be located but it will be some combination of Fountain Valley, Hemet and Anaheim. The format is double-elimination. 18HS - 4 Berths 16U - 6 Berths 14U - 6 Berths (No Steel Cleats Allowed in 14U) Registration/Refund Deadline - 6/8/11

So will there be pool games just like the AZ Qualifier? Or is it straight up Double Elimination out of the gate?

New 14U poll .......................

Thanks to all of the coaches and pollsters that voted.

Will we ever see the top 10 teams at the same tournament?

Great job Braaaackkkkeeyyy. I'm surprised PS 96 still ranked as high as they are. Still getting street cred from glory days I guess. Other than that, it looked large and in charge. Premier should be a great tournament. HB, girls softball, mid 70's. And the majority of the crowd will possess most of their teeth, which I understand is a little less common out Midland way..
Anyway, will be great competition in a place god intended softball to be played.
