10U TOP TEAM RANKING (SOCAL) PRE-ASA STATES FINAL RANKING !

by SoCal10UDude » Sun Dec 27, 2009 5:53 pm

Couple of Updates:

1. HB Breeze did break up. I will do a manual adjustment/tweak to the rankings for the #6 slot. Either USA Athletics might take that spot for winning WC Toys for Tots and defeating Jynx and/or Jynx getting re-aligned out of #2 and/or 10-5 getting re-aligned somewhat. I'll wait to see the teams again after the break before making a tweak.

While Corona Eliminators did win the Mizuno tournament, I see no argument to move them up as they beat #15 ranked Mizuno in their win vs. USA had to beat better quality teams.

2. Adds: More Teams

1. Murietta Impact (99/00)
2. Temecula 99ers (99)
3. OC Elite (now forming) (99)
4. Softball Factory (99)
5. West Coast Lightning (00/99)
6. SoCal Athletics (99)
7. Coming Soon ---> American Pastime 99.

I am still catching word that a couple on my original "notable missing" orgs might field teams in January but I don't want to spill any beans at this time.

Seems the Breeze girls have landed at Mizuno, SoCal Athletics, Watley, possibly USA Athletics and OC Elite and we wish them all the best on their new teams.

With 2 DD's, one who played-up one year, I put in 5 years at 10U (Rec, All-Stars, Travel, Nationals...) Artomatic has penned the defining characteristic of the 10U mind-set.
The funniest & most expressive post I've read. Makes the Moms-to-Fear worth putting up with.

Color me biased but Eliminators have wins over your #6, #10, #14, #15, #16 and were playing #3 even up before the rain came in Hemet a few weeks back, they played #7 to a tie in the first weekend they played as a team...... they are continuing to improve each week. The win in the Mizuno tournament was a solid outing for them so don't make a mistake by overlooking them or discounting this team.

In observation these kids play for the fun and the chance to compete with their friends and they all love the game, the snack, and yes event the playground. I hope that other teams at 10 can state the same as they all grow up to fast.

Their Teacher's have assured me they can spell respect and that each one knows the definition of the word.

Alert! Alert! New Poll just out!

Corna Eliminators are #1.

Everyone else playing for 2nd.

They're not biased, they've beat #10, 14, 15, 16, and tied someone else, and if it weren't for the rain............. you know what would've happened?????

Give it a rest Eliminator fans.... EEERRRR parents. The target just keeps getting BIGGER. :o

Yes Artomatic spelling and all forms of the King's English did skip my generation. Thanks for letting me know! I must not of had you for a teacher back in the 60's. Thanks for pointing out one more of my many faults.

I Forgot to let Bubbawheat know in my earlier post know how much I respect the FC99 team and the coaching staff they are very solid choice of #1.

I am sure everyone knows they are the team to beat in 2010 and are the gold standard in 10U softball.

For me my New Year's resolution will be:
Become a better speller and
to be as humble and quiet as my good friend Bubbawheat wants me to be when I am rooting for our DD. The resolutions will both be hard to accomplish but I will promise to do my best. Maybe a quick lesson on where the spell check is on this posting board would be a great start.

Have a Happy New Year.............. yes even you BW.

TCS 10U CHAMPIONS : Primetime Elite (West Covina)

Looks like Bombers in rebuilding mode after losing 98's. Did PrimeTime Elite pick up any players ?

Getting lots of reports of player movement, no one is immune so far...
