The best part of U6 was watching this cloud of dust following the ball around the field and my son asking "did you see me kick the ball dad?" I never really understood the point of that game, but it made my wife happy

My DD was one of those trying to do travel softball and club soccer, spring softball priority and fall soccer priority. I'm glad she finally chose softball fulltime, the knee injury rate at the soccer upper level for girls is nuts. It did teach her how to run and how to be tough and work though pain.

My DD used to play soccer - U8 - she now calls it "ANT ball" and can not understand her friends who choose it over softball.....got to love it! She was a goalie then and a catcher now - guess it wasn't totally wasted time.
