Looking for a good 97 team, any suggestions?

Wow, not to nice artomatic, but your opinion counts.
I was just getting her info out there ( I know how hard it is to start out in So-Cal from growing up there) . I am also proud of her and what she has accomplished.
Being her coach for the last few years I know what her stats are. As a coach we take numbers at the beg of the season to see the amount of growth of the player at the end. I do believe that is common practice.

I might have the stats tattooed on my forehead so I dont have to tell all the coaches I see, they can just read it when we talk.lol

I do know of the 97 teams, but I was going of the ones that had good coaches. Thats where the opinions come in. People whom know the team or are part of the org.

I think if you are going to ask a question on a national board, you have to be prepared for the answers and not take it personal.
My answer wasn't meant to insult you, it is my honest opinion.
Being involved in running tryouts the last 3 years in socal travel, after 5 years in socal rec, when a parent starts throwing out stats, especially crazy numbers like you are saying, i immediately see a red flag.
maybe im wrong. I hope your kid can tear it up and i hope you can find a good fit.
I just think if your kid can dazzle the coaches and catch their eye on her own, it will carry alot more weight.

As far as your kid tuning you out, again, not meant to insult you, but really, I'm betting 11 yr old kids want to have fun playing, not listening to dad talking to her about improving her home to first times and overhand throwing speed.
Plus, my kid is 14 so i know exactly what it means for a kid to tune out her dad, God help you in a couple years...

Really hope this "looking for a good team" post starts a trend... envision a tidal wave of parents posting their DD's home-cooked stats on a daily basis... and only looking for a good coach...,which pretty much obligates every coach to respond, lest they miss out on the next Mendoza or Abbott. This is gonna be great!

Why are some of you so cynical about my post??
Lying about my daughters stats will help whom?? ( I gave basic stats on her abilities, I could have gone with OBP or BA, or K to BB ratio)
The truth would come out eventually right??
Dont get me wrong, I said So-Cal is a tough area to get into. I posted here to get her noticed and to see what people said about certain orgs.
(if there is a straight a** as a coach or one whom likes little kids, I would like to know)
I am not going to go to every tryout and pull out my paper and recite them to every coach. If a coach ask what does she throw, I will tell them. If they ask me what her times to 1st is, I will tell them. Then hopefully the dont take my word for it and make her throw or run...etc.
Lying about things like this will only get you into hot water. Then everyone knows that my DD is not what I said for her to be....Then what??
I want to go where they have GOOD coaches and are a GOOD travel ball team. I would say probably 7-9 good 97's next year that I have heard about or seen so far. I do want a coach to be interested in her as well. Be it a leg up come tryouts, or a bulls eye on her back. You take your pick. But l am not one to exaggerate. What does that accomplish??

Moving down to So Cal and DD needs a team. DD has played travel ball last 4 years. We have gone to a lot of nor-cal so-cal tourneys in that time.

She is a P, 3rd, C, SS, OF.
H-1st is 2.95 (1st movement)
H-H is 11.8
Fastball is 55 at the top, averages 50-53.
Change is 38ish, keeps same motion as fast.
Throws a good drop and rise.
Can be wild at times, but keeps hitters off balance.
Good fielding P.
53 overhand.(at start of season)
She has been very effective against some of the top teams this year as a P.
She hit 1-5th and was the only 11y/o on the team. She has some good power, still working on hitting the outside pitch better..
C's well, needs to work on her blocking better but throws out a lot of runners and is quick.
Solid at 3rd/SS and has good range in the OF.

I would like to see her play most these postions next year. Any suggestions on a good team in So-Cal where they have some good coaches?? Any place where she can get some EX/college or Olympic level instruction as well. Is it me, or do kids tend not to listen their parents coaching them at his age...

If this were true, you wouldn't need to be looking for a team. Whether residing in Alaska or Sonora, Mexico; she would have been discovered. Somehow, someway.

While the pitching speed does not seem out of the ordinary for a very good first year 12 pitcher, the running times are way too fast for an 11/12 year old.

11.8 was the 4th fastest at Park City this year. Nice to know that it is impossible, might want to tell them that. So many people have such low expectations of what girls that age can do...SAD SAD..

You want to take your kid to the next level take her to Victory USA-Campbell 12's next year. Put aside all the hoopla about playing for a big Org at 12's etc...... Give this guy as many seasons possible and once it's time; the big Org's will come knocking.

He teaches every aspect of the game very well. Once your "in", you're in.
