You were just able to bring her? They told us about 3 months ago that you have to be invited or accepted. If I knew we could just show up that's what I would've done.

Went Friday to watch some friends workout and was AMAZED as to the number of coachs, crazy crazy stuff. Derek and Joann are great for softball is all I can say..

The weather was great, the food was great (now I know why I didnt see you on Sunday Arto :) ), the fields were nice, games were on time, what else can you ask for. Well maybe if Hemet wasnt on the edge of the earth. :)

OnDeck is invite only and NO walk ups allowed

It sure is great when the coach and kid are very proactive in contacting the college coaches and get them out there to watch, only to see the kid take a ground ball off the face because the infields are never groomed! The infield conditions were absolutely terrible! Never dragged or watered from what we saw. At least the coaches know the kid won't turn her head as proved by her black eye and missing teeth!

Thanks to all who replied regarding the lost TCB weighted balls. Several people responded trying to help and even posted here on Hey Bucket and Spy for me. They are expensive, so the loss would have been great! I really appreciate the spirit of everyone trying to help..and in the end they were found!

Best of luck to all!

Well I didn't get the opportunity to spend more than 30 min. there on Friday, but my DH and DD did and they said it was well run.

Derrick and JMO, thanks so much for the opportunity. You guys went out of your way to help explain things due to an unfortunate event we were involved in. I'm just glad she made it there and she gave 100%

Unless they stuck you at a crappy HS field with no scouts. What a waste.

Did the High School have as many coaches as the main complex... No... Third site never does no matter where you go.... I however was at the High School on Saturday mid morning early afternoon (For about an hour) w/ our 18's and spoke to 1 Pac-10, 1 Big 10, 1 Big East and two smaller schools... Then I was back there Sunday morning for our 16's and had 2 Big East, 1 Ivy League and 2 mid majors... I'm sure results will vary but this is one satisfied consumer...

Wheatfield was unbelievable for our 16's on Sat :!: :!:

I agree the Allister's do an amazing job with their camps. They have no conflict of interest which is the best part. Who stood out in each group? Any pitchers, infielders, outfielders, or catchers? How were the games?

Allisters do a VERY good job of staying neutral and being very honest when it comes to the college coachs, and that has earned them HUGE respect and it shows by the numbers.

What I liked best besides the obvious number of coachs was they dont run it like a "meat market". Sure its not easy to get into but it remains pure and thats why the college coachs come because it makes there job that much easier, they know its talent heavy, unlike some other camps where a 1000 kids show up and coachs just stay away..
