Tballer did you get another screen name, can't keep up with you. Come on just say it! You want people to give your '98 team props.

Ok Tballer, they are right there with FC 98 and Victory 98. You deserve to be in Bracky's Top 40. Bracky give him his fix. :P

I would agree that the 98 class has looked weaker but the test will be next year everyone has know that the 2 best teams are Victory Campbell and FC Brashear. The question is will the other teams in this class be able to challenge the 2.

These teams will have a hard time cause these are not only the most talented teams but the best coached as well :!

However would love to see 1 of the next level teams beat 1 of these guys especially my DD team :P

Last year there were three 1st year 12U teams to place in the Top 17 at Nationals (CA Lockman, OCBB Snow, & AA) and a 4th OCBB Ray did really well at Western Nationals. There was also Valley Tribe, OC Wildcats (now Cal Cruisers), and American Pastime that were all competitive.

Those teams aren't only now some of the top teams but they also have branched out to the Team Anderson's and OCBB Ray's and made those teams really good.

Saying that there is no way the 98 class is that deep, it's a pretty small softball world and unless someone is hiding under a rock in the local rec league then I don't see the depth. Still, I hope I'm wrong and some teams step up!

At this point I would agree in TB the 98s are a little thin. Maybe its' the economy and more parents decided to keep their kids in Rec?

Given the fact that I seem to watch any level of softball … once All-Stars starts I will take a look at some of the 98 All-Star talent and report back to the TB softball community.
