Another drama queen trying to stir the pot with assumptions and speculation.

One thing worse than backing out of a friendly is to bash a team by name... on a public forum... over a friendly... without knowing the fact's... Moron

Well then let's hear the "facts"
The consensus here has been to call out teams that bail on friendlies at the last minute. If a team is called out unjustly and then defends itself with a valid argument that would pretty much put the issue to rest. However, to just come on here and call the poster a liar with no supporting info lends no credibility to your claim and further strengthens the argument of the OP

Fact is the OP's post itself... bashing a team based on assumptions.
By the way... when did I call the OP a liar. Perhaps you should get your fact's straight before coming on here running off with YOUR mouth

Hahahahah......
The greatest thing about this is NO ONE DENIED IT. Hahahah...
We'll here is my take on all this. For the ladies who replied, Thank you for your input. Yes I am a moron. Now I know your the contacts for those teams and also the ones responsible for scheduling your teams. So you must be the ones getting bashed by your team at this point for pulling out of a team fundraising event that has now effected other teams.

My intent is this. The next time a team backs out of a friendly they will think twice about it.

My intent would not be for anyone to look like a fool! No fighting, not cat fight! You all relax!!

We entered the friendly back in Jan. We attended 2 others back to back with same org to support them and get games. A third one came up in between, I was never in. I got a call from the org asking me to please enter, they were in a bind and I went ahead, freed our calendar, jumped in to help them out! This was under one condition, I would not be in the April 18th friendly. My parents were going to lynch me had I had us drive to hemet 4 out of 5 weeks in a row! The scheduler said ok. Mind yuo this friendly got squashed because everyone else cancelled on them and left us with a DH! Not what I cleared our calendar for!

I sent a reminder email that we will not be in the 18th, a months notice! A week later I find out I should have sent the email to a diff person. Each friendly they host is run by someone else, my mistake. I then sent that email, still giving a 3 week notice. My 2nd email had a typo. There in lies the confusion. I have cleared the air with the org scheduler and mgr of the host team, he and I are fine. He has told me himself he did not post nor does he support the OP here!

Take that for what you will! I bailed on no one last minute!! ;)

Moefoes is right. There are a lot of teams bailing the week of and it used to be, you make a commitment, you honor it. Problem is people are still letting these teams in their friendlies. Years ago when I started even if I had 8 players and 1 pitcher we honored our commitments even with parents complaining why?? The answer would always be, "Cause you do, period". I'm not saying you can't cancel out of something scheduled well in advance. I'm saying don't give a host team less then 2 weeks to find a replacement. In most cases you know well in advance if your paying attention whether or not your going to have a problem. Am I tired of these kinds of inconsiderate coaches, yes! We are hosting this week and mid last week everyone confirmed they were going to attend. Schedule was sent out Monday. By Tuesday afternoon 4 teams had canceled. No body wants to call them out on this PUBLIC forum. Well to me, that's what it's for. That way our peers in this sport know what kind of crap some teams are pulling. Ya, they all gave me lame excuses which I thought your the coach and didn't know this or who runs your team. Either way they didn't uphold their commitment the week of and left us high and dry!!
So watch out for these teams in your friendly as they may leave you high and dry too.

Teams that dropped after the schedule was posted and had confirmed their attendance days prior.
All 14u
monsters
SC Ravens
Revenge96
Intrepid - an add in for a dropped team but then dropped 2 days later this week.
OOPS!!! My mistake another just dropped add
12u - SC Stingers

3 of these teams from the Santa Clarita Valley - something wrong with the people up there!

No you didn't use the actual word liar bit you did say that they did not know the facts of the matter and their post was based on assumptions. Semantics at best.
Bottom line no one has seen you post your version of the facts that would clear this all up and make the OP look like a fool.

You seem to be missing my point which is the OP decided to bash a team on a public forum and tried to damage their reputation BEFORE he knew the fact's. That was the only fact I needed to know. The only thing that would strengthen the OP's argument is being able to show HE knew the fact's BEFORE he made a statement that could damage somebody's reputation, which he obviously did not. If you don't understand my point by now then I will just have to accept it. At this point this has become a battle with no prize. :|
