Valencia strikes again!!!

Maybe it's time for someone to start a new thread about the fact that CIF declared West Ranch's pitcher (transfer from Hart with a 10-1-1 record and a 1.43 era) ineligible.

WOW! you should really be proud of this accomplishment! It is only the beginning of these kids being in the middle and getting hurt.Wait until the football programs get a hold of these rulings being denied Just Because they want to deny them!!!!!Im not sure why you would insinuate that kids are dumb and shouldnt try to pursue a class of interest and stay at a school that doesnt offer it? Maybe your talking about your own kids humm. Once again you are still ignorant and continue to amaze me with your post. This is going to affect alot of kids but i can see you dont care about these kids and have some personnel issues!!!

Making the WR kid ineligible is a bush move by the staff at Hart High. The kid didnt even play varsity last year for them yet they spearhead tossing her under the bus on a boundery/paperwork technicality. I hope the schoolboard overturns this one.

Some of these adults ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Chickenshit in the extreme. Nobody owes anything to their f'ing school, and the idea that a school can, in a fit of vindictive spite, prevent a kid from pursuing her future in whatever way she and her family decides is best is just plain sickening.

A bunch of meddling busybodies empowered by a government run amok. A pox on all of their houses.

If the transfer is for academics, then sitting out a year of high school ball - high school ball (repeated for emphasis) is a trivial trade off. If you want want to travel for softball, there is this thing called travel ball where you can travel as far as you like - believe me, I know about traveling about travel ball.

Being able to go anywhere you want for school is a separate issue. I mostly agree with that concept, but there would likely be issues with that as well.

I don't care if a they want to make the move solely for athletic purposes. That's their business, their priorities, their kid's life. If it's okay with the school, and okay with them, nobody else should have any say in the matter. And if high school ball is that trivial--which I agree it is--then it really shouldn't matter to anyone else whether she plays or not.

Instead we have third parties (drawing government salaries, no less) attempting to discern the motives of private families, passing judgment on whether those motives are sufficiently pure, and imposing penalties when they decide that they are not. Well screw those people, and screw every other busybody who wants to interfere with how we raise our children. There must be a special place in hell for them.

My kid transferred from Thousand Oaks to Newbury Park her freshman year. My answer to anyone nosing into it would have been a "straight up" go f*** yourself.

That's cool you let other people dictate where you play HS ball our HS is around the corner and would not drive across town for the coveted CIF title that doesn't mean s*@t. It's HS and we have a solid softball team at our HS and would never tranfer to a different school just to play with a better school. my 2 cents.
