Mendoza USA looking for a head coach for 12U and 14U

Mendoza USA is looking qualified head coaches to take 12u and 14u teams starting in January. Applicants must be willing to complete a background check, be ACE certified, travel ball experienced and provide character references.

Mendoza USA is a new fastpitch softball organization in Ventura County. We are endorsed by Olympian Jessica Mendoza and will be fielding competitive teams in the 12U and 14U divisions. A large interest list is forming for tryouts in early January (date and time tbd)

Coaches MUST be willing to practice in Camarillo and surrounding Ventura County areas. If you have a ventura County team or players you want to bring over, we want to talk to you.

It saddens me that Jessica Mendoza is going to join the long list of non-existant "endorsing" ex-players with a team. I really thought she was better than all the others.

I would hope that many of these athletes truly want to give back and help the younger players experience the love they have for the game but the realities of their lives and schedules prevent the involvement that others expect of them

I agree Spazsdad. However as the GM of Mendoza USA I can honestly say that Jessica already has been quite involved with the new organization. She was set to appear at our Jessica Mendoza Toy Drive friendly this Sunday and was bringing 100 Mendoza tee shirts to give to whoever brought a toy. She had also signed 100 posters for the participants. Unfortunately this might be cancelled due to rain. We look forward to Jessica's involvement in our new team.
