Checking bats

Does every Ump know how to check for altered bats? Do you have to take a class? The reason im asking is i think some Ump's have no idea what to look for and there taking bats just to make it seem like they no what there doing. You cant all of a sudden become a bat Guru. Help me Help you.

You no, the poop from our bats isn't they're no more. I've axed the warranty peeps what the hell is goin on and there givin me the runs. The umps have no idear how to measure the stiks and please give me ur address so they can call you.
