DP/Flex

Is anybody aware of a So Cal Fast Pitch Jr Recreation league (B or C league) that uses the DP/Flex during the regular season?

I'd be very surprised there are any. Rec leagues usually require teams put everyone in the line-up during the regular season. All stars was the only time coaches had to deal with a regular line-up where DP/Flex could come into play.

Lots of teams will use the dp/flex in friendlies depending on what upcoming events they are preparing to play. TB teams that mostly plays friendlies and winning tournaments isnt the primary goal tend to bat around.

I'd say it varies largely by age. HS-age teams tend to have tighter line-ups because players are settling into roles by then. Younger teams are more likely to bat the roster for most of the year.
