ASA 12u. 2 outs. runner at third, batter swings and misses, catcher misses the ball and ball rolls away, runner at third runs home, instead of tagging runner coming home, she throws to first, runner touches home plate as she throws, runner is thrown out at first. end of inning. however, ump said run scores cause she touched home before the runner at first was thrown out. Is this the correct call?

No runs score when the Batter-Runner is put out for the 3rd out prior to reaching 1st base.

No run scores. Play is technically still alive so until the runner (Batter that stuck out) touches first nothing else can come from it.

Only way the run counts is, did the runner (Batter that stuck out) get tagged out after she had already been called safe at first. In which case the out is technically registed after the run scores.
