Too many different sanctioning groups. This weekend playing in ASA tournament. Does ASA do DP/Flex for batting order or something else? Thanks for the help.

ASA is the only one that does the DP/Flex rule. Everyone else does a variation of it.....opps sorry, NFHS also uses the DP/Flex rule. Previous statment applies to all of the various santioning bodies of summer or travel ball.

USSSA has adopted the use of the DP/FLEX beginning this year.

As has been stated, ASA uses the DP/Flex rule.

However, local tournaments may modify ASA rules for their tournaments. Unless the tournament you are playing in is championship play, (state, regional, qualifier, etc), the tournament would be allowed to modify the rules.

Best to check with the tournament director for a list of tournament rules.
