This is not to say that running after 3k is an illegal activity. When it gets to be excessive though to the point of intentionally delaying the game, like running around and rounding a bag and playing cat mouse .. except there aint no cat - we are all standing there looking at you cuz everyone on earth knows she is out, including you, we will be having a very short chat.
And agreed, when it goes to the extent of making it a joke about rounding the bag vs. running down the line, then back to the dugout, then yes, the intent would be fairly clear on what the BR is doing and after the 2nd or 3rd one, the girl and coach can continue running to the parking lot.
