:o Wow! - Lil Saints go 0-4 for the weekend.

:o :o Double Wow! - Team Arizona wins the tournament double dipping Scottsdale fever twice. 4-1 and in the championship game 9-4.

Who would have thunk it.

I guess this should move Team Arizona up in the standings consdierably.

I guess the coach knows more about his players than I gave him credit for.

Good job Team Arizona on a well deserved tournament win.

Team AZ continues to impress.....my DD's team played them in each teams first tourney of the fall and we fell apart in last inn to blow a lead. It looks like Team AZ is putting the pressure on many teams and taking care of business! Props to the coaches, players and parents you will be a force the rest of this year and come qualifying! ;)

One person's view of the "current" top 5 in 14u.

1. Stealth-For now.
2. AZ Cats 96-Success playing in 16u against strong teams.
3 Desert Thunder 96-Balanced team with good tournament play so far.
4. 96 Scottsdale Fever-Winning tradition with consistent hitting.
5. Team AZ 97-No longer a sleeper at the 14u level. If they play well against the top 14u teams and continue to improve they could contend for an ASA National spot.

The Stealth frendlies are going to be fun to watch. Anyone with a different top 5 so far?

Great Job Team AZ. They are a great group of girls who are very well trained. I especially think the smaller 2nd baseman is an absolute stud. I hope the continue to impress and move up in the standings. In all fairness I would rank them above Fever now that they have beaten them twice.

Man I agree! That team is stacked top to bottom and that 2nd baseman packs major power! Outstanding group of girls! They deserve a big bump in the rankings! Is this team an all 97 team? Very impressive!!!
