In 5, 6 maybe 7 years how many of your 18 players will still want to play softball?

old yeller, when did I say any of those things were not important? I think you need to stop yelling so you can take a moment to think. Yelling across the field to be heard is one thing, yelling at them as they are coming in to the dugout is quite another. You're right finding a coach that doesn't yell or demean girls is the top priority on my list, this is just a game after all. If winning were that important I'd have her play rec where she would certainly dominate, but I'd rather her push the envelope on her skills without being fearful of making the mistakes she or any girl would certainly make.

"WE DO NOT HAVE A 2000 TEAM. WE HAVE A 99 TEAM." well which is it do you have a 2000 team or don't you? just because you have a couple of younger players does not make you a 10u team. From what I understand the last tourney in tucson where you beat liberty 2000 you were using 99 pitchers.
