Poll about first time posters

Question to all of the heybucket members out there regarding first time posters. We know a good number of first time posters are just new screen names to bash someone that may have pissed them off over the weekend. We can set a post count on new members where their posts would have to be approved before they are released. Should we continue to allow the free for all or put the reigns on the newbs?

I say no censorship. Let the newbs shoot themselves in the foot. They often embarrass themselves, their families and even more frequently, their team. The newbs who start posting with bad intent typically get a quick beat down. The current HB system of justice appears to work just fine without any further measures.

I say noo...if they are going to create a new screen name don't they also have to have an email address associated with it that is new? if they are going through all that trouble to bash someone...well then more power to them.

They should be watched....Too many people have multiple screen names and say things that shouldn't be said on a public board....

Plus, way too many 12U parents view this site.....Are you ready for them have to have their FREEDOM and be able to say and post whatever they under a new screen name????

I normally think they are funny, but then I'm not a mod that has to clean up after them (I've done that on other boards, and it's not as funny then).

If I don't have the cahonies to say it with my normal screen name, then I'm not gonna say it. I also use the same user name (jofus or jofus13 in some cases) on all the boards I frequent
