Questions about Kansas??

What are the best travel ball programs in the state ?
Which high schools are the better through out the state??

Was going to put this in the KS section, but it has only 1 post in it...

Most of it depends on which area of Kansas you're going to. I am originally from Ks., and the best travel programs are from the KC Metro area, or the Wichita Metro area. If you are in the topeka area, most of the best players travel the hour to KC area. As far as H.S., it depends on the size of HS and again the area you are relocating to. Without more info, it's really hard to fully answer the quastion.

How about you tell me the overall best high school teams. Out in the west, even different size HS's play each other. So with that said, in the KC area and Wichita area. Which ones reign supreme?
Then that goes for the Wichita and KC areas. Which travel ball orgs are the ones that have the best teams year after year??

In the KC area, Olathe East has won 6 of the last 10 Class 6A State Championships. Shawnee Mission Northwest has won a couple as well. In the Wichita area, Wichita Northwest and wichita carroll are year in, year out the best. NW is 6A, Carroll is 5A. In Topeka, Hayden(private 4A) and Washburn Rural(5A), and Silver Lake(3A...10 state champions) dominate! Our schools don't do a lot of interclass play. Silver Lake(my alma mater) has to do more of that because there is fewer small schools close to Topeka, and KC so they have to play up in tourneys to cut down on travel. I have been gone for a long time, but I know the Wichita Mustangs and Wichita Shockers routinely travel here to Texas to play tourneys. In the KC area, the KC Zephyrs, the KC Hot Stix, and the Olathe Rockets routinely go to nationals either ASA/USA or Northern Nats. Hope this helps!
