Hi's and Low's at 12U ASA "A" Nationals in Normal, IL

1. California teams have a good showing.
2. Great weather
3. Snow and Jynx beating the Comets after all that hype
4. Revenge having a great run......congrats !!!
5. Who ever posted the play by play of the Championship game on hey bucket. That was awesome!!!!!

Low's
1. OC BB Marquez not in the top ten
2. Corona Angel girl getting hit in the eye (hope she is doing better)
3. All the Smack talking about what teams are breaking up
4. Big tourney still had alot of rookie umpires
5. Firecrackers losing to Texas Fusion

What happened to Valley Tribe they went 0-2
They were a good team and top 10 in bracketologists polls

"Bracky" had Valley Tribe ranked as high as 18, but in his last poll they were ranked 20. I don't believe VT was ever in the top 10.

At Nats, Valley Tribe finished 3rd out of 4 in its pool. In the first bracket game, VT lost to Indiana Thunder (which finished a disappointing t49 at Nats), dropped into the Loser's bracket and then lost a close game to (SoCal) Raiders 96 (also t49).

5)Everyone very friedly ( Ya'll play we'all)

Worst;
1)Rain & lighting
2)Brackets giving some teams one day off from play (Thursday)
3)Three umpires per field (Not the best of the best) LOL
4)Having to warm up outside the facility (outfield was open on all fields)
5)Going home and going back to work!!

Looks like VT was ranked #8 on the Feb 1st 2009 First Spring Poll based on Bracky's posting of March 22:
"Sell – (#8). Valley Tribe 96 & 97 – Went to the whip too early – fall back and regroup."
