ASA....No. There is no such thing as releasing a player who is on a redlined roster after they have participated in a National Qualifier.

That is how I understand it as well. The player's agreement works both ways......

We had a player that tried this last year. Current coach agreed to release her. Both coaches went to ASA actively supporting the move. No way.

Once redlined, you are stuck.

It has nothing to do with any "player's agreement". It is the ASA Code and everyone agrees to it the moment the roster is signed.

Thanks, I have asked this question and many coaches are not to sure ! I feel very sorry for those girls--- coaches that released these girls when they have already qualified with them and then let them go and find other players---- Thanks.
