Marymount HS won the CIF Div VI Championship in Coach Dave Clark's 3rd(?) season as the head coach. The softball team at Marymount HS had never made the playoffs prior to Coach Clark's arrival and has made the playoffs every year he has been there. As a reward for his efforts, Coach Clark was named the CIF Division VI Coach of the Year. Congratulations, Dave, to you and the team.

I am very happy for the girls. The Seniors have done my 'old fashioned' drills for 4 yrs & it payed off.
The 11 girls on the roster did very well considering we have to practice on Bel Air Country Club's driving range. Graduation was May 23 thus ending our driving range practice. The day before the championship we were chased off the Senior Lawn (90' X 50' grass area) & had to use the school parking lot. My Senior ASB rep grabbed the chalker & made lines. We were 'loose'.

to T-Shark - West L A to Yucaipa to Beaumont (ASA 16u State). Beaumont to Palm Springs. Sunday - PS to Beaumont to Whittier (18u) to West LA. Worn out.
