Depends on the girls. The -11 is good if she has slow hands, like my daughter. We have the CF6 and it's a great bat. You should demo a few. If you live here in OC, go to Sports USA in Laguna Hills. You can demo for $10/week and she takes the cost off the purchase price if you buy one.

When DD2 was that age, Anderson made a bat called Pyrotech, around 70 bucks as I recall. It was a -11, she tried a lot of kids bats before she tried this one and loved it. The rocket tech was the rage around that time, it was a couple hundred bucks , we went to those later on but at 10u the Pyrotech was a good one for her.

The sooner you can get over Dumbo's feather syndrome, the better. Yes you ... Mom & Dad need to get over it before DD can.

Funny how when they get to college, they get handed a bat.

Younger DD's school switched bat sponsor between Fr & So years (new coach). Swung all kinds of bats.
DD: All about the same. I don't care which one we use.

This place has gotten a bit old and salty, lately. Sounds a bit like UCS did 5 years ago.

I think we all agonized over bats when our kids were 10 yrs old. It was kind of fun. Nothing better than showing up at the field, DD launching a bomb, and she was swinging the bat everyone else was running out to get. Yeah, would be nice to have the 1000's I spent, but I would have pissed it away on something else.

The slowpitch guys seem to be liking the Worth 454 Legit and the Easton Synergy Mako. Though they give downgrades on the Easton because it breaks at the connection, especially in the cold. Too a lesser extent they like the DeMarnini.

I went the hard course.
I was the silly dad that paid and wasted a lot of money when dd was young.
DO NOT BE ME!
Pick out a top of line used bat. find or ask on Heybucket about a 30" or 31" inch bat.
For my dd who was a tiny thin rail,,-10 always, she was not a big 10u. A nice balance bat.
Do give her the best tool possible,,,just get it used, or last years model.
Now I ask you,,,,,Do you know the best bat??? for your dd,,,,,.

Sunnyhdad, since you're in Honolulu, if you get the chance, go check out a Hawaiian 12/14u travel team called Pound4Pound. If you do, you'll probably want a Xeno.

At 10U, get her a bat she likes and has confidence in.

That means one she can handle, so a drop 11 or 12

If you don't like the "ting", "ting" of the aluminum (personally I miss hearing my DD hit into her net with one when she was your kids age) then spend the money on a composite. The result will be the same either way

I'd stay away from end loaded, especially with young kids. Most of them aren't strong enough to get the bat head thru the zone like they need to with the end loaded. Go for a balanced bat

If she is a slapper, anything with do. No need to spend money

I don't care for the Xeno's. Too loud, they startle me and make me think every pop up to the pitcher is going to bounce off the fence. Over commit and under deliver. My kid used to swear by DeMarini, now she swings an Easton because the team she was on was sponsored by Easton and she got used to it. She would swing a DeMarini again if her next team told her to.
