I see further, because I stand on the shoulders of giants
Go to a batting cage or somewhere she can demo multiple bats from multiple manufacturers. Just went through this and struggled with two or three different bats until we found a easton stealth that was end loaded and fit her just right. Every player is different and the worst thing you can do is have her get frustrated with a very expensive bat that everyone else recommended but does not fit her right.
A bat that comes up to, or just under her waistline, is a decent rule of thumb I've found. In 10u rec ball we use a cushioned ball so metal bat works fine, no need for a fancy composite one.
a small alteration or movement made to achieve a desired fit, appearance, or result.
go buy the biggest most expensive bat out there. it will make all the differance. and youll get the scouts looking at her. or if you're a cheapbastard you can go to target and get a nice pink bat. they are cheap. under 10 bucks. it won't really matter. its only 10u and they use a mushy ball anyway
Its will make a difference if its first year 10U or 2nd year. My girl is a power hitter and she likes the Anderson Rocket Tech End Loaded. This aluminum double wall bat makes the ball fly....That's if she is a physically stronger than normal. If she is normal strength plan on spending approx. $150 to $200 on a good bat. Last years models are perfect. Have her try a few bats before spending the cash. Try Easton, Demarini, and Miken. There is a chart for age and height but if she has power don't go by it. Also depending on pitchers she face if fast go lighter if slower go with a little more weight. Good Luck!
