What has Heybucket done? For you or fastpitch?

I will start with the avitar,,,it may seem simple and fun, some may even say that cowards hide behide them,,,,, I would differ.
With the avitar ,members are able to pose questions that they might get ridiculed for, or perhaps people may note even give you the time of day if they knew who you were. It took away from those who deem themselvs THE experts on softball, and empowered those who love the game and want to learn more. The avitar also allows question to be asked with no real consequences from their dd's TB team, school and peers. It has allowed an open discussion of the topic at hand.
It has also added great entertainment and humor.

So, what has Heybucket done in 4yrs?

Wish HB had been around 10 years ago- certainly would have saved me some money and certainly time.

Besides the great advice, stories, experiences, and laughs.......... It is nice to know I am not the only softball nut and that there are some nuttier than I am I also find some rule clarifications very helpful

(3) reminds d%$%ss parents of the need to f%^&%g pay attention where their kids are concerned.

Came from Florida 2 years ago and help me to start my Daughter in softball heaven (So Cal)...
Help me understand the type of teams, coaches and the parents...

Heybucket is a great tool for everyone like jonriv said it can save you a lot of money.
My best advise is read and read and read.

I have met more nice people via the bucket, some of which I am friends outside of softball even though my kid has been off the diamond for a few years. Softball is full of fantastic people, who pretty much have a common goal for their children and willing to go off the deep end to do it. It creates some nasty extremes but this venue has done great for the sport, like it or not.
