16U will be a College Showcase format this year. No tournament format.

I have heard rumors that the umpires being used are suspect, that JK was awarded the umpires contract but has been scrambling to get it covered with quality umps. Yes ... No ?

JK does not do the 16U division, DA does all my games. The umpires will all be bringing their white canes and seeing eye dogs though.

JK here umpires for 18U division of AFC have all been confirmed as of Monday 12pm and no scrambling going on here LETSGETREAL...

How come the tournament format was eliminated for 16U this year? Too many teams?

Mystic 93, this what I have been told. The College Scouts are really looking at the younger girls now that Verballing is starting so young. That the 16U division is a division that the College Scouts are really focusing on. So, the new College Showcase Format rather than the tournament format.

We will see this weekend if this is true.

I will be at the AFC Saturday and Sunday. Saturday morning, I will be at the 16u games at Hickman Field and most of Sunday I will be at the 18u and 18gold at RB and Kit Carson.
