Non-revenue college sports like softball do not get the media coverage they deserve. Participants in softball work just as hard and are just as dedicated as those playing major sports.
To help this situation our new college sports website (collegesportsmadness.com) not only covers football and basketball but also gives equal coverage to FCS football, women's basketball, baseball and softball (starting January) and men's and women's soccer (July, 2012) at the D-1 level. For all sports we include preseason team previews (top 44), post season tournaments and bracket predictions, professional draft rankings and mock drafts, weekly updated top 25, weekly player awards and recruit listings.
Our staff cannot be experts in everything so we are looking for softball writers to provide content to the site. As a new site we are not able to pay writers but it is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a premier college sports site.
