When does everyone start playing again?

We are anxious to get started with our new team but we are not starting practices again until the middle of September.

When is everyone starting and what are the hot tournaments for the fall? So Cal

We had a couple of open 14u tryouts over the last few weeks, in which we were looking for all positions. HAH!

That's done, and we'll have a couple of get-together practices over the next few weeks, but the kids mainly have this time off to get back to school, get homework patterns established and basically take a bit of a break before we get rolling again in early/mid Sept.

Hot tourneys...? It's fallball... We're doing mostly friendlies in NorCal

That goes the same for us here in So Cal....We have been holding open tryouts the last 2 weekends and this one is our last one.....Then we will resume with practice on 9/6 and then do that for a few weeks and then start in with friendlies...Probably won't play any tournaments until around the ASA Thanksgiving Tournament....

If I might make a suggestion...there are a couple of tournaments you might want to consider prior to the ASA TXGiving Rainathon and the perennial Toys4Tots Rainathons.....

Southwest Showdown in Las Vegas in October....great weather and some good competition.

Bullhead City TCS Qualifier - great weather and great gambling.

The last thing I would want is to play friendlies until late November only to play 2 games in the ASA tournament. Just a suggestion.
