One tent per team

While at the ISA World Series in Atlanta, the complex for our games had all the normal rules (no coolers other than 1 team cooler, no outside food, no smoking). Also on the warning sign was a warning that only one shade tent was allowed per team. Any violation of these rules would result in your team being disqualified. Now, if space was an issue, we could understand this rule, but this was a spacious complex with a lot of room between fields and between the fields and the concession/bathroom building. There were 8 brand new trees planted between the four fields, none being taller than 8 feet. The nearest shade was the woods on the other side of two of the fields.
While chatting with one of the gatekeepers one day I asked what was the reason for this rule. This man said "there is no real reason, it's just a park rule". The rules were printed on ISA World Series placards, not on county park signs.

So, my question is, has anyone ever seen this at a complex and what is the reason?

There is one complex here in eastern Va. that allows none, and there isn't a shade tree within 1/2 a mile of it and it is wide open, although nobody can give an offical reason, I suspect that it is because of that one team or person that refuses to move it or there things even though there team has a 3 game break and they are leaving the complex for lunch, with there 4 pop-ups and all of there chairs and equiptment right along the fence...
