Ha, Ha, Ha, you're most likely saying. Well we placed all but two families. does your team have any extra rooms you're stuck with by chance? Like everyone else looking for rooms, this Midlnad thing is a joke! We need two double rooms. What a nightmare this is!

Try calling the Hampton Inn. I know a team that released 12 rooms either Thursday or Friday.

I live in the Midland area and my DD (8U) and I will only be participating as spectators. She hopes to join a travel team next season, and I am looking foward to her seeing how a higher level of commitment translates to a higher level of play on the field.

But I digress.

I have been reading about a shortage of rooms in Midland. Are y'all looking for rooms in Odessa? It is only a 20 min. drive from the hotel district to MUGS field. 70mph along a straight flat road. You're right about extrafastbitch activity, these are working cities, not a great deal of recreation, but we manage to have a bit of fun. I can think of 2 water parks, a drive in theater, and a meteor crater. And dont think because of all the oil here gas will be cheaper, we deal with some of the highest prices in Texas.
