I would agree with that....
There must be roughly 300+ travel 12U pitchers that played in the Fall.....I would say that out of that group maybe 5 or 6 girls REALLY throw 56+ consistently and nobody throws as hard as the 2 kids from last year's 96's....The one from Bomb Squad and the one from Power Surge.....There wasn't a pitcher on any team this past Fall that threw like those 2 kids did...I do think there are a couple girls that can get there though....I think there are 3 or 4 girls from the TOP 10 teams that MAY reach that level but we'll see....
Consistency is the key...I hear so many people say my kid throws (Fill in the blank)....Throwing a pitch 3 or 4 times out of 100 at a lesson doesn't mean you THROW that speed.....Figure it out during a game if it's that important.....Do 4 or 5 innings and chart it....Then you'll know where she's at....
I think you will agree that we saw MANY very good pitchers in 12's this Fall and they didn't all throw 56+.....Many of those kids are very good pitchers and are just now coming into their own and will grow from here and gain strength....
