I don't know - I have probably broken every rule - I like to talk about my DD - who doesn't like to brag - and if you can't brag here where can you?

If everyone is perfect who will we make fun of....

This is the last place I'd brag. Knowing the identity of some of the board's members, and that they never mention their dd's NCAA national championships, Pac 10 player of the year awards and so on, I'd feel positively silly popping off about a diving catch at the Turkey Trot or whatever.

46 huh ?? Really....with an uninformed comment such as yours, I would guess that to be your IQ.

So, just for starters, anybody posting that has an affiliation with, say, Tennessee (2007 WCWS runner-up), Northwestern (2006 WCWS runner-up), Michigan (2005 WCWS champions) or the Lemont Rockers (2008 ASA 18U Champions) shouldn't be taken seriously? Tell that to all the good teams that are from west of the Mississippi that were beat/eliminated by any of the above-mentioned programs. The reality is that every year the gap between east and west is closing as more and more teams/programs commit to year round training even in sub-zero winter temps found in the cold and icy upper Midwest and Northeast. Southern California, or for that matter any team west of the Mississippi, does not have an exclusive hold on talent.

I get the my DD has 46 pitches as tongue-in-cheek (from Wikipedia: Tongue-in-cheek is a term used to refer to humor in which a statement, or an entire fictional work, is not meant to be taken seriously.) but many posters do believe that the softball sun rises and sets only on their neck of the woods (delusion, not sarcasm).

Sarcasm does not define the statement as being false, just the intent/emotions behind it. Sort of like, "Oh, you're so great becuase you play softball in Orange County.", if said with a sarcastic tone might mean you are great but also full of yourself.
