12U National Elimination Brackets Up...

What's on your mind?

by SoftballG » Thu Jul 30, 2009 11:35 am

Nice to see 7 Texas teams still in the winners bracket, SoCal is showing their strength for sure thus far, just wish the bracket would reflect more matchups with different parts of the country meeting up against each other

wishful thinking good luck everyone!

There will be some great games tomorrow...Batbusters/Firecrackers WOW :o

Firecrackers haven't given up a run yet...just like they did at the beginning of The Best of the West...

I take Firecrackers 4-1
I'd rather die than lose, you have to live with losing

how did the Ca stars finish in Ca this year ? Middle of the pack ? Riptides are only about 4-6th here in ohio. and handled the stars pretty easy. MD

CA Stars were the lone team from Central Cal ASA.

Riptides will face a better team tomorrow when they play the loser of the OC Wildcats - Revenge game.

Stars out of the Cali teams in the tourney are probably the worst...So-Cal and Nor-Cal and
Central-Cal.

4-6 in Ohio?

Well no offence to the Stars, but out of Cali...umm 50 teams on the top of my head that could beat them..that is just thinking off the top of my head.
It is good to be 4-6 in Ohio, but honestly the comp in California is unreal, and we will see when this tourney ends how many of the top 15 teams are Cali teams(Prob 11 or 12ish).
If the Riptides went to Cali, not to sure how they would do, but probably the bottom end of most tourneys.

Also, was that a dig on California??

A little respect the players please. A win at Nationals is a win and some teams are now on the road home. Riptides had a second game tonight and took care of the Texas Aces. Of course, after that they'll be matched against the loser of OC Wildcats and Revenge.

In defense of Ca Coast Stars, they are out of Orcutt, CA and don't have the talent pool to draw from that any of the SoCal teams do. They should be proud of themselves for making Nats and going out and competing at the top level.

We played them in a TCS tourney a few months ago, and their third base caoch was a piece of work, great guy...Picture Steve Spurrier on the sidelines, yelling, encouraging, laughing, throwing his visor. I couldn't stop watching him. very funny.
