What's on your mind?

How about for a pitcher "The blue is squeezing you", " You've got 4 corners to work with". If a pitcher hits a batter " Its all aprt of the game", "Shake it off"
For a batter "If its low let it go", "If its high let it bye". There is so much stuff this post could last for ever.

my favorite came from a catcher that my daughter played with a few years ago-she got fed up with the blue after about the third pitch where she didn't have to move her glove at all to catch the ball, she turned to the blue and asked him where his strike zone was so she could put her glove there.

Thanks bruinfan.  Great way to start my day. I forgot about that until your post. The blue (RIP Tomas/of Hart - Madmun will remember too) was a good sport and I think everyone in earshot got a laugh out of that. Ill have to remind DD about this... and her mom..

Excellent question because if the ball doesn't pass through the PU's strike zone she's not getting the strike.

I've had F2's set up on the outside corner and have the pitch called a strike, next pitch F2 is setup a little further outside and will continue pushing the outside envelope until a ball is called.
They will use the same technique with low and high pitches.

Definitely common practice in these parts.
