Yesterday we were collecting information from kids interested in trying out for Varsity softball. The range of experience went from kids who are going to play D1 ball to those who have not played before. (By the way, this is a strong program with four state titles in the last 7 years).

When asked what their primary and secondary playing position was, several of the young ladies who have not played before wrote:

Primary Position: hitting
Secondary Position: running

It will be an interesting tryout.

After the blue called a pitched that bounced on the plate a strike...DD who is batting yells
back at the umpire..
"Hey blue, we're not golfing here...."
