Sorcerers-phil has been updated and Val Arioto and Jessica Moore have been added to the roster as Michelle Gasciogne has been dropped

Wow, that is a bit surprising to me, what a pick up by Mumma, you add Arioto and Jessica Moore to that pitching staff and it is now very formidable:
Val Arioto
Jessica Moore
Hannah Williams
Sammy Albenese
Not to mention you add Arioto's bat to an already potent offensive line up and they are going to pack some big league offensive fire power. Did not see that one coming, this should make an already strong Socerer team, very strong.

Good news for sorcerer fans, bad news for sting fans! What will the sting do now? Who might be out there still to pick up for the summer? Sounds like they are, as well as another great team are in search for that big horse to help them through qualifiers! Guess we'll wait and see.

An already potent offense? Lets see, 1 run vs sting, 2 vs AASA, 3 vs RR Gold-Borges , Grapettes and let's not count out Berkeley Bears. yea, that's pretty potent.
Mumma getting Arioto does not surprise me. Im sure he is trying to get a few more players on top of that. He needs serious help especially after what Sorcerers did this past weekend.
Im sure he is ripping into his players telling them how awful they are.
Why would Sting need "that big horse" to get them through qualifiers. I thought they already had one. The big lefty, duh?

LOL. I guess reading back my posts I do sound like one but Im not. They are my #2 overall team on my top 10. I do hate the sorcerer fans who make Mumma and his team look like they are the 18 Gold version of the Olympic Team. Lady Magic is the other one who thinks they are the 27' Yankees. At least the other Gold teams never post on here. They stay quiet and let their play do the talking.

I second that notion Bucket Mom, wow MIH what is the deal? Did your kid get cut by Mumma or something? And what Sorcerer fans do you see on this board talking it up about the Sorcerer's? All I see is us posting all the time so who are you speaking of? The folks out at the park? I dont hear it there either, I have known all those guys over there for years I have not heard them say much as they aint had much to talk about with two quick exits from GOLD nationals in recent years. I think that is just your opinion of Sorcerer fans, because if you ask any of them they will tell you that they have done nothing to be considered anything but a team trying to get it done.
And I tell you what you add Arioto to a line up that already will feature some serious power hittters and I believe that does make for a very potent line up.
And again, and please listen up, Mumma and the like are not showing their best line ups in these back yard tune up games, Mumma batted 17 girls this past weekend and that will not happen down in Lancaster, which means a pitcher will have to face the middle of that order 3 or 4 times in the course of a 7 inning game. You add Arioto to the middle of that order and it only makes their murders row that much more formidable, And I'm no Sorcerer Fan or Mumma fan, just a fastpitch fan calling it like I see it.
Chill on the hate, nobody said you have to like Mumma or the Sorcerer as many of us are not big fans but we do not just talk crazy talk about a program that has no doubt been successful in years past and no doubt put together a very nice sqaud this summer.

Naw not new to GOLD been here for a while now, and I would not call them meaningless in the sense that they don’t serve a purpose but the sole focus of these games is not solely placed on winning is my point.
Sure everyone wants to win, you play to win every time you hit that field, but these games are generally used by these guys for getting as many girls some AB's as possible, and getting as many girls some looks as possible. They obviously don’t mean as much as qualifiers as I'm almost 100% positive that Ford wont have that same team he has now out there playing, or I don’t believe the Sting will be getting everyone in the game, nor do I believe Mumma will bat his whole team.
That is what I mean by the games are not necessarily meaningless but they serve a purpose and the #1 purpose is not winning them at this point. Again, sure everyone wants to win, you don’t play to loose, but the #1 focus of these games is not to win them, if it where believe me you would see these guys rolling with who they believe are their best 9 the whole way. Who cares if you go undefeated in these warm up/exposure things and go two and que at the qualifiers, come down to Lancaster that is where you will see these guys really care about winning and where the true GOLD ball competition is on display.
