OK, so somebody definitely lost a bet and had to do this thing, kind of like the loser of a USC/UCLA football game would have to wear the other team's jersey or something. Maybe two dad's at the friendly the week before?!?

Wait a minute...isn't that the coach from North Eastern Utah State? Quick someday call the NCAA scouting office and report her/him//it..... Too funny!

This is hilarious! My daughter changes numbers every year. When the coach asks the girls what number they want me DD spends all of about 45 sec on the topic! My wife and I spend more time on it then her. I had different numbers myself every year through high school! This girl needs to get a grip

That's your fault. If you'd dip into your flippin 401k and get the poor kid a pole barn, she wouldn't have to change her number every year.

i have a 13 year old in travel ball she is a pitcher .... at this age they become teenagers and everybody knows how that is there trying to find them selfs. the coaches were wrong for not keeping her # if she was there first she should have it i know there only 13 probabally doesnt matter but they could of told the other girl the same thing but they didnt welcome to the real world ,,,,the other one has more money so they give it to her ,,,i would of told my DD the truth they picked her cuase of the money ,,, and i would of let her make her own decision and if she s that good there should be no problem finding another team thats better

This sounds too much like a joke. Why would she care so much for a number? Its a NUMBER!!! What exactly does the number represent to her? I would guess nothing. It sounds like to me that this is more of a problem with you then your daughter. Why else would you keep bringing up the fact that the parents of the outfielder have more money and owns land. Stop whining mom and do what is best for your child. DONT GET IN THE WAY.
