UCLA's international population give added revenue to the coffers.
AS far as college baseball is concerned I really don't follow it since I only have daughters & my DD's HS has sent 4 players directly to the Pros the last 3 years & was ranked #1 in the nation 2 years ago, so sorry
but I do know UCLA was ranked #1 last year but I didn't see Cal in the top 25.
Now I never saw your quantification of WCWS & the DD I talked about bunted every single time, We both know NO DD hits HR even 30% of the time so your entire comparison is useless.
Ex your a classy gentleman... You think your clever with your stats and your cheap remarks. Really enjoy how you infer my sons achievements are not up to par because he didn't sttend UCLA. This site never ceases to amaze me with the low level persons as yourself Ex.
Couple of things:
#1 My boy was drafted in 7th rd out of Highschool.
#2 Our family chose Cal for its excellent national ranking as the #1 public institution in the country. Turning down both UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, LMU, ASU, UW and Miami. All offering 75% or better which is pretty damn good. By his Soph year he was 100% athletic scholarship.
#3 He graduated with Honors. Had 173 on LSat gonna attend Bolt Law.
#4 He was twice All Pac 12 through a few nagging injuries.
#5 With my own eyes watched him play at TD Ameritrade.
So next time you feel the need to be-little a mans child or his achievements think twice. You just don't know who your talking too. As I understand your daughter(s) played College softball. Right? If so then you did a great job raising them and I applaud their achievements. They are part of the amazing 1% which gets to feel that achievement. My DD will be there in a few years... I can't wait!
