Well the runs usually come shortly after a trip to the snack bar, so... Wait, why is Jesus playing softball? I get the feeling Arto will have the answer from a South Park episode!

Pffft ! ... Because there are too many people named Jesus already playing soccer ...

After Jesus batted cause the following batters wouldn't have a chance...Even Jesus only gets one at bat through the line up...Duh :D

When Bugs Bunny batted against the Gas House Gorillas, he got more than one at bat ... Are you saying that Jesus can't have the same opportunities that Bugs had ? And furthermore, can Jesus throw a rise ball so good that Jesus can't hit it ?

Ok I'll bite...who are they and how would they have reacted to this thread?

You would have to go back 10-12 years ago on the old original message boards, rec.sport.softball and fast pitch forum.

These were two of the most vile posters who would be ultra-offensive to posters in threads like this one. Really, really bad especially since there were no moderators back in the day.

I hear that rise is legendary on Easter Sunday, smoking' on Ash Wednesday, but merely good on Friday. ;)
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

No mocking intended- IMO GOD has a sense of humor- he certainly is aware of the intent any jokes were made and he alone can pass judgement on those

Serious question; Why is it that athletes only give thanks to God when they do something good? We always see Tebow kneel and give thanks after a TD, or some hitter look to God when they cross home plate after smacking a 500ft homer.... how come ive never seen them look to God after they strike out looking? or throw a pick late in the game??

Good question - I hear from athletes I am close to that when the good happens, they would rather give credit to God for the talent He gave them, rather than strut around and say "Yay for me ! ".
