No, it is not the end of the world-your DD could have dumped softball for soccer.

DD is also a pitcher and has horses. Luckily we have acreage to keep them at home. (Cuts down on costs) Got her involved for the same reasons. So far she has not had much interest in boys. One tried, but after she proved he could not hit her fastball, she lost interest.

Pitching lessons....... priceless
