Pants or Shorts

For the blistering hot humid weather in August when you travel to nationals in bumf***
Missouri, pants make more sense than shorts. This is why most people wear pants to
the beach or to 4th of July picnic.

db, I have came across bumf*** in Texas, Tennesee, Florida, South carolina, and did I mention, Texas as well as Missouri.

Our girls fought against pants over shorts until they got their first pair, fortunately the first set was a quality set, and now its no argument. Because of the heat down here, I thought white was the best color, but the monthly issue is an issue. My own dds much prefer white anyway though.

We do both, cold weather pants & hot weather shorts. It hasn't been a problem so far.

Soaking in Biz will whiten anything! Older daughter played with white pants for years!

As for shorts though, if you ever get the chance to play for a premier coach and organization in 16's, you will wear shorts!

My DD prefers pants over shorts easily, but only if they are made for girls (I dunno....lower waist or something?)

Yeah! Jofus is the winner. The cut of the pant is called the rise. Softball pants for woman didn't exist until the last few years. So, now, we can order woman's pants for the girls.

Do you guys really want to know about periods and teens and periods and college girls - or will you just stick with black pants from age 12 and up?

And since you bring it up, in HS in the early 70s we had to wear one piece gym uniforms. You can imagine what some girls looked like. Anyway, it was a state law that you had to shower. Mrs. ? had to stand outside the shower stalls and we would walk in a give her our number, stick one foot in the shower and walk out. Except for if you happened to be on your period that week. You simply walked up and said "medical" or somethng. I really can't remember.

Well, my goofy friend and I were always aware that the PE teacher could tell if any of the girls were pregnant or not, by if they continued to shower that month. Sometimes we would walk up and tell her "medical", but just on Mondays and we were always together. It didn't take much to amuse us.

My DD (7th grade) is playing for her middle school team this year. They wear pants. She brought her uni home and tried it on. Now she wears the pants all the time in the house. She loves them. First game is march 31st. Let's see if she continues to love them after the first game.
