Now I absolutely think it's pitiful when ANY infielder wears a mask. I say go to outfield or Dads go work with your daughter.

The poster asked for opinions on types of masks...not opinions of wearing masks...If you are so offended and disgusted...lets do away with ALL forms of protective gear...elbow guards (batters)...catchers gear etc...hell a catcher only has a ball coming at 60ish MPH from 43ish ft...sissies for wearing gear I guess?...but a 3rd baseman at 20 ft or pitcher at 30ish ft and a ball hit in upper 90's is pitiful for wearing protective gear?...
Grown men, playing SP...ever seen how far the 3rd baseman plays back?...pitchers wear HELMETS now...and back pedal at pitch...
