Female coach accused of affair with 15 yo female

There is a PAC-10 pitcher from CA who is now a senior that was recruited heavy several years ago by another big time softball school, she got freaked out by what was the "norm" on their team, probably happens quite often.

I guess you would have to add that question to your list when being recruited, or is it something you find out by talking to people. I mean how do you ask a big time softball coach who might be a lesbian/bi-sexual herself, "is your team mostly lesbian", that would seem to be a VERY awkward question, but yet VERY important to a young girl? Either way you better do some homework!

I know one thing for sure my DD would never travel at 14 or 15 to attend ANY camp without parental supervision, just not happening..

Several of my friends are going through the recruiting process with their daughters right now and trying to find a school where things are “normal” is a major consideration for them. Evidently this is a bigger issue than most realize.

That's because most have never been exposed to the womens studies programs on virtually every college campus, which are little more than lesbian recruitment centers masquerading as serious academic programs. And of course their tactics pervade womens' collegiate sports, which are prime picking grounds...

Was this affair allegedly going on while this coach was with the Texas Bombers or the Avengers Revolution? No way that none of the girls on these teams, or 15-year-old's team, didn't know this was happening. JMO.

This is a criminal act against a minor, not sex. I don't see how sexuality is relevent.

I agree absolutely, and really could care less what any two consenting adults do with each other. But the simple fact is that there exists a hard-core lesbian culture on nearly every campus (found in the departments of feminist studies, womens studies, gender studies, etc.) which is extremely proactive in recruiting women to the lesbian lifestyle...primarily via the villainization of men and the instillation of an "us v. them" mentality. Straight but emotionally or intellectually vulnerable women are ensnared in that milieu all the time.

The issue on the table was protecting girls from predatory behavior. In this case, we are talking about female predators which, while no better or worse than male predators, do often come from slightly different and possibly unexpected directions. Hence the prior comment re it being "a bigger problem than most realize." And what I'm saying is that there exists a predatory environment on college campuses which operates under the guise of academic legitimacy. My own dd will be well aware of its existence, and of its modus operandi, before she ever steps foot on a college campus.

To be clear, I'm not talking about consenting adult women seeking one another out and...yeah...that's all good in the hood as far as I'm concerned. I'm talking about predation, and a predatory environment that I think parents and girls should be aware of before they wander off to college and blithely enroll in that interesting sounding class on gender and culture...
