What weight will the NanoTek Be? -11, -10, -9?????
Do you have a ETA??? Sorry to bug I am going to get a Anderson and i will wait for Nano if its soon.

It is still on the drawing board and that is one of the items still up in the air. With the longer barrel typical to a Fastpitch bat, the weight becomes a little trickier. We will also need to do some prototype field testing. I'm sorry to be vague but I don't have a release date yet. When I do I'll publish it here first.

Can you make a ballpark guesstimate on the release (e.g. 2Q '10, give or take 3 months)?
I'll bet KekambuS's team would be willing to help you out with the field testing...

The problem is that, at the stage it is at, I can't really make a good guess. There are simply still too many variables. I can however promise an update at the end of next week. If you twisted my arm and forced me to make a SWAG, I would have to give you the worst case number of 2Q '10 but, unless Murphy has his way with the project, I don't think that is going to be true.

Can you talk about why Anderson Bat Company decided to make the NanoTek a singlewall bat vs. a multi-wall bat (ie. RocketTech, Techzilla)?

good question, the main reason is that I can make a singlewall NanoTek lighter with phenomenal performance and the development time is much shorter. The NanoTek FP will be the leapfrog technology that will move Anderson technology past composites. The NanoRocketech and the NanoTechZilla hybrids are farther down the road because the juggling of variables to create a well balanced product with all the advantages of Nano and multiwall design is gonna be a bit trickier but I think it will leapfrog any technology out there today. That and patent issues are a bottleneck right now.

A friend told me about how they stood on a ping pong ball that was covered with a thin layer of the Nanotek material and it didn't dent. Can you expand on that?

Not at all, the Nano material is signficantly harder, stronger and more elastic.
