Where were the California and Texas Teams in 16U Sioux Falls

16u in California is similar to Junior Varsity in High School - Too old for Frosh. Not good enough for Varsity.

I don’t agree with the trend to jump to Gold ASAP, unless they are good enough to play (I see a lot of younger ones on the bench). Many of the CA 16u’s won’t stand up to quality teams that are playing at their age.
