I'll do my best. I guess Spazdad could do it for the 1 field that he will be at. That is unless he goes to my house and partakes in to much of my keggerator.

So if there's a rainout, then what happens to all the $$$$? Personally, I wouldn't mind if the TC folks used some of the money for a GPS unit to actually know where all these fields are.....

Hey Art...bummer, at least the Mom's wouldn't have to work on Mother's Day. My experience is that we always play on Mother's Day, but Father's Day is dark because none of the Dad's will work the fields...oh but that's another thread...sorry.

So they will refund all but $50?

Here's the exact info onthe site

"WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: There is a chance this tournament could be rained out. Please be aware that $50 of the entry fee will be kept to cover administrative costs if tournament is cancelled. If cancelled, you can transfer the full amount to another Triple Crown event."

I didn't see
...or get a refund.

Here's something from the TC website....
If you get 0 games played we will keep $50 to cover administration costs; if you get 1 game played we will refund 50%; 2 or more games played there is no refund.

So what are the odds of them pushing to get one or two games in on Sunday to keep 50% or all of the entry fees? Just curious.....

I can tell you that the City of HB will not allow games on their precious fields if it raining 24 hours before the event.

Spaz, I drove by your field yesterday, I think there were ducks on it. Either that or some baseball players having practice.

City of Westminster will close all of their fields too, been there done that.

Artesia, chances are they will not be able to salvage this one. They usually do a great job of keeping a tournament going, but don't think they will be able to on this one.

So, I guess that means I have to clean the house this weekend. Hey, maybe drinking I mean bowling.
