It's a safe bet that if you noticed other players using them, they are legal. I mean, right?

Not at all. Team USA used ISF approved bats anytime they were playing international ball.. ISF hasn't had the restictive list used by ASA, NCAA, NFHS, etc.

They have allowed any bat with a BPF of 1.20 until Aug. 31, 2008. After that, all bats musts be certified as ISF legal which, I believe, allows an exit speed of 100MPH
