Uno need to get yall a Kleenex sponsor? :D

All the young ladies who aspire to play college ball need to be told...that if you so choose to play at a school far away...That includes a Buh Bye...Its NOT the end of the planet, its the next chapter
(Mom and Dad cant live in dorms BTW)

With the money I'm not spending on TB...
Bought myself a spiffy new truck...
Gonna buy a camper, save up cash on that...
And since I don't buy gear anymore may go scope out a new fishing boat...

Like a 60 footer ;) :D :D :D

Y'all cheer up!!! Bad vibes bringing down my buzz level 8-)

PR will have to answer, I wouldn't know. I'm currently posting from inside my daughter's dorm room closet.

Yes the rumors are true. I refuse to come out of the closet. :o

Wait?...For the truck? or the bawling?

...lets put it this way...I hauled hers stuff up in new Z-71 ;)
Bawling?...Nah. Plus my food bill has been cut in half...kid can eat.
Do I miss her? Sure do...but that school was her choice ...I always reserved a NO answer, but never was the YES guy...
I look at it this way...
My job on Earth was to get my kids launched...the landing on their feet own 2 feet is their job now...but that doesnt mean I wont be kicking them in the rump or not monitoring their voyage. And I will always have their 6 ;)
And if for some reason this 'gig' doesnt work out, same HWY north she took, has a back south set of lanes...re-group and head out.

Really looking forward to our camper, 1st voyage will probably be to the campgrounds near her college on game weekends :D

No...didnt say buy 2 shelter halfs, make a poncho hootch or bring up a GP Medium...
My idea includes showers when I want, hot water, no cold water shaving...does not involve a non=potable sign...
nor immersion heaters, MRE's or anything OD green...
no 'lyster bags,...
no porta johns with the magic mountain...
no droves of mosquitoes, chiggers or ticks,
no freezing my nards off, nor sweating either...
No pioneer tools, no replacing a slung track...

Long list of stuff that WONT be associated with camping...
I do have to have one exception...my woobie blankets...I always have a Woobie or 2 in my vehicles...I want a woobie in my casket when I croak...AND
I even take Blankets, wool, OD to ball games...best ball game blankets in existence...dont hold smells, dont have to wash them...people laugh, but I am warm...

PR-

All this talk of hooches, shelter halves and lister bags got me thinking….

Here is me in my "Hooch" in Beautiful FT Benning, GA(circa 1989) Two days before the wonderful non-stop Georgia rains helped to give me some "trench foot" and several others hypothermia
