New to "fastpitch" - need bat advise

so my daughter has moved up from Little League to High Schol JV Fastpitch. She needs a real bat. Suggestions?

I would like something that will last.
I would like to stay under $300
So far, Anderson seems pretty good, ya?

IMO ... DeMafreakinrini's have a smaller sweet spot and if you ever have a problem, Mr Notso Freakiniceonthefone at DeMafreakinrini Customer Diservice will show you what a hose head he can be ... I like the Stealth Speed which you can get for around $200 now and the Xeno seems pretty good ...

What does she hit with now- how does she do?

My advice is to find a bat of similar specs- but better material, mfg etc..... This way she will feel comfortable, but get the better pop. Some kids can hit with anything, but many are very particular and like the comfort of consistency.

she has an Easton Typhoon.

it just doesnt seem to get the job done. it SOUNDS like crap lol

i also need to know about proper length etc, is there a golden rule?

If she likes easton have her try Senergy. That is the higher end a lot of girls use that bat. My daughter uses demarina cf5 and Anderson rocket teck. These 3 bats you see the girls use on the travel ball teams
