Injury Question

DD was covering on the steal and got taken out. Landed on her glove hand and hyper extended her elbow. Go to the Doctors on Thursday to get an expert opinion but was looking for any personal experiences with this injury. Already told her it would be unlikely that she will be able to play at Nationals. Guess we are both still hoping that all will be okay.

Recovery in a week? 4 weeks? After this week it really doesn't matter how long, as we have down time. I don't want to chance her playing in a couple of games and it end up hurting her later down the road.

Doctor cleared her to play, she iced after her first game. Had no pain, the week off seemed to help. She's not a pitcher, so she wasn't involved in every play.
