Are the CF3 and Miken Rain noticably hotter than the silver & blue Synergies from 2 years ago SCN1B/SCN8B? It appears so from these posts, but we've just stuck with the Synergy (1B - bought NIW in September 08) this year. Need to +1 eventually, and don't know whether to just buy another NIW SCN8B Synergy (Langenfeld seems to do fine with it), or jump to the CF3 or Rain. Have an RTK also as backup.

You know...I'm not convinced on This Rain yet. Some of the kids love it and it is supposed to have an extended sweet spot, but the barrel is physically, quite a bit shorter than say...the Easton Clarity(which is junk IMHO).
My DD never used the silver and blue Synergy, as we started her with a -11.5. DDs first favorite bat was the pink and silver Synergy. It still has so much value to her and she falls back on it when faced with the fastest pitchers. The Rain, shreds when compared to the silver and pink Synergy, but then that probably won't help you. We haven't found anyone with a CF3 to try out yet.

I bought our team a worth Quad after much discussion with my supplier..The first one had an end cap problem but the replacement has been great....the only ball that has come off this thing less than hot was the one that broke the endcap...My dd has a -10 mayhem that is dead, started using the quad until the cap popped then went to a Techzilla and back to the quad..says the quad feels weightless when she hits the ball.. just my .02
